Activision has officially revealed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, a full remake of the classic skateboarding games, set to launch on July 11, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

The remake will feature all content from the original games, alongside new skaters, tricks, and skate parks. Returning pros include Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, and Elissa Steamer, while newcomers like Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome join the roster. The soundtrack will “mix classic tracks with new songs inspired by modern skate culture”, though it’s unclear if the entire original soundtrack will return.

THPS 3-4 will support cross-platform multiplayer for up to eight players, and the game will launch on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Preorders on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC include access to a Foundry Demo in June, while Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Edition owners will receive early access from July 8, along with exclusive content such as Doom Slayer and Revenant characters, in-game skate decks, and Create-a-Skater items.

The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy Studios, which previously handled the PC version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. The earlier remakes were developed by Vicarious Visions, now rebranded as Blizzard Albany and focused on Call of Duty and Diablo projects.

The announcement follows a rocky development history. After Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 launched in 2020, plans for remakes of the third and fourth games were reportedly canceled following Vicarious Visions’ 2022 merger with Blizzard. Tony Hawk confirmed that Activision explored other studios but rejected their pitches. Speculation reignited after leaks and teasers surfaced, including Singapore’s Infocomm Media Authority listing the game with a 2025 release date.
