Pokémon TCG Pocket’s New Expansion is Centered Around Arceus

Arceus highlights the new expansion, Triumphant Light, on Pokémon TCG Pocket. The expansion was released on February 28.
Triumphant Light introduces over 70 new cards into the game and this includes trainers, Pokémons, and more. The big Pokémon dropping in this expansion are Arceus and its EX version, with the latter having an ability that makes it immune to special conditions.
This set also sees the dawn of Link abilities. These abilities will only activate if the player has Arceus or Arceus EX in play. Cards with Link abilities will have a distinct marking making it easier to spot, especially since there will be duplicate Pokémon from other expansions that will be receiving reprints in Triumphant Light.
Aside from this, Pokémon TCG Pocket also announced the addition of Ranked Matches to the game in late March. The developers have not revealed the rank nor how ranked matches will go, but they mentioned that they will reveal more information about it soon.
The expansion update also includes Pokémon day events which gives players a Genetic Apex: Pikachu and Genetic Apex: Mewtwo booster packs that contains a guaranteed card with a rarity of four diamonds and higher. Simply login before April 29 to claim the pack.
Pokémon TCG Pocket’s last expansion was Dialga and Palkia’s called Space-Time Smackdown. The Expansion introduced more than 140 cards into the game as well as the two Diamond and Pearl mascots.
