  3. The game has no exact release date, only saying that it will be out by Q4 of 2025.

Yasunori Mitsuda, one of the composers who worked in Chrono Trigger, is providing music for the sequel of Edge of Eternity called Edge of Memories. A few other JRPG industry veterans are also helping the team behind the Edge of series, Midgar Studios.

Final Fantasy XV’s combat designer, Mitsuru Yokoyama, is also helping the team. This means that Edge of Memories’ combat might lean more towards action instead of the previous entry’s turn-based combat. Based on the trailer, it seems to be going in that direction.

The character designer of Xenoblade Chronicles, Raita Kazama, is also participating in the development of this game. Emi Evans will handle the lyrics of the music in the game, she was the singer for the NieR soundtrack.

From the information provided by the studio, there was no mention of the extent of the work the star-studded team is going to do for the game. For example, Yasunori Mitsuda was also in the development of Edge of Eternity but has only contributed 6 tracks, the rest of the tracks were composed by Cedric Menendez.

Regarding the Edge of Memories’ release date, the only information available for it is that it will be released in Q4 of 2025. The Steam page of the game is already up and available to be wishlisted.

Edge of Eternities was released in June 2021. The game received mixed and average reviews with Metacritic giving it a score of 67. The game was first released on PC with the console versions for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch following in February 2022.
