Final Fantasy XV’s combat designer, Mitsuru Yokoyama, is also helping the team. This means that Edge of Memories’ combat might lean more towards action instead of the previous entry’s turn-based combat. Based on the trailer, it seems to be going in that direction.
The character designer of Xenoblade Chronicles, Raita Kazama, is also participating in the development of this game. Emi Evans will handle the lyrics of the music in the game, she was the singer for the NieR soundtrack.
From the information provided by the studio, there was no mention of the extent of the work the star-studded team is going to do for the game.
