BAFTA Announces 2025 Games Awards Nominees

The full lineup of nominees for the BAFTA 2025 Games Awards in 17 competitive categories was presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

All the nominees were selected from the longlist of 58 games, which was compiled after BAFTA’s 1,300 members reviewed a pool of 247 games, all released between Nov. 25, 2023, and Nov. 15, 2024.

The reveal of the winners will happen during the BAFTA Games Awards on April 8, 2025.

It is worth noting that according to BAFTA’s rules, remasters of games originally released outside of the eligibility period are not eligible for consideration, while full remakes are eligible in craft categories only. DLC is eligible as part of the consideration for Evolving Game and in certain craft categories only.
