Key points
  1. Anna Williams is revealed to be the first Season 2 DLC Character for Tekken 8.
  2. Anna was already teased even before Clive Rosfield’s announcement.
  3. Anna will be available starting March 31 for Season Pass 2 holders and April 3 for others.

Anna Williams completes the family in Tekken 8 as she’s the first person to be introduced as a DLC character for the game’s second season. Anna will be available on March 31 in Early Access and April 3 for her official release.

Her addition to the roster completes the Williams family in Tekken. She’s the younger sister of Nina Williams as well as the aunt of Steve Fox. Nina and Anna’s rivalry dates back to the very first Tekken game which is also their first appearance in the franchise.

Tekken 4 was the first time Anna wasn’t included in the base roster of the game and Tekken 7 marks her first time being a DLC character. However, she was already teased even before the announcement of the final DLC character of Season 1, Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy 16.

Tekken 8’s Anna gives her new weapons to play with, including a new rocket launcher she calls Lovely Tom. This might be a call back to Anna’s fondness for Jerry from “Tom and Jerry”. However, it’s also confusing as to why the rocket launcher is called Lovely Tom because the person who likes Tom from “Tom and Jerry” is actually Nina.

Anna Williams will be available on March 31 for players who have purchased Season Pass 2, which is still currently unavailable as of writing. Her official release will be on April 3, by then, she will be available for purchase either individually or be usable for players who have the Season Pass 2.
