Key points
- Assassin’s Creed is collaborating with the anime and manga franchise Attack on Titan.
- This is the first time Assassin’s Creed is collaborating with an anime and manga franchise.
- The update will also feature bug fixes and improvements to the corrupted castles.
Assassin’s Creed Shadow’s latest update will see the franchise collaborate with the popular anime franchise “Attack on Titan.” Players are going to be tasked with the quest of preventing a power-hungry faction from unleashing the terror of a Titan on Japan during this time.
The collaboration marks the first time Assassin’s Creed is teaming up with an anime and manga franchise in-game. While Assassin’s Creed Valhalla did collaborate with the “Vinland Saga” manga in 2020, featuring a crossover with Thorfinn and Eivor Varinsdottir, Valhalla itself didn’t receive any in-game content from that collaboration.
This latest collaboration is different. Ubisoft will put up an Attack on Titan Dual Pack available for purchase from the in-game store once the update goes live.
Players interested in starting the accompanying quest will be able to start it once they go to the Yamashiro region, north of Hanzo Tower. Players will need to have Yasuke unlocked as a playable character before they can interact with the quest giver.
The upcoming patch also features numerous bug fixes and improvements to the corrupted castles.
The “Attack on Titan” collaboration is a limited-time event, which will run until Dec. 22, 2025.
It’s unclear how long the Attack on Titan Dual Pack will be available.
