PvPvE extraction shooter PUBG: Black Budget was revealed on Nov. 21, 2025, along with the announcement of its first Closed Alpha test.
Developed by PUBG Corporation and published by Krafton, the game has already received a Steam page, indicating that it is initially coming for Windows PC.

According to Krafton’s statement, the Closed Alpha test, supporting Russian, English, Chinese, and Korean languages, will consist of two public test sessions from Dec. 12–14, 2025, and Dec. 19–21, 2025, totaling six days across two weeks.
Playable from a first-person point of view, PUBG: Black Budget allows players to assume the role of the Contractor, a hardened veteran hired to recover top-secret technology from an abandoned research facility on an island at the edge of the world, trapped in a time loop and consumed by a supernatural phenomenon known as the Anomaly.
While tasking players with extraction of artifacts, research of the findings, and uncovering the truth behind the black-budget initiative called Spaines, in between missions, the game will allow players to expand their personal base, craft new equipment, and improve characters’ skills and proficiencies.
