Key points

  1. Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will not have PC issues similar to Monster Hunter Wilds.
  2. The company cited the vast differences between the titles as the reason.
  3. Pragmata was also talked about during a Q&A.

Capcom has finally released the summary of its Q2 earnings call 2025 Q&A, which revealed that it is not expecting any problems with the PC version of Resident Evil Requiem, similar to the ones currently plaguing Monster Hunter Wilds.

The company said that the reason is that the two titles differ in gameplay, system and networking. They said they were “preparing to provide a comfortable playing experience for PC’s with a wide range of specifications.”

Capcom also said in the Q&A that one of its targets is for Resident Evil Requiem to surpass the initial sales figure of Resident Evil Village. The company said that the game has been “well-received at various game shows.”

Another much-awaited game from Capcom was also mentioned in the Q&A, Pragmata, with people wondering what the company’s expectations were for the title. Capcom provided a non-answer, saying that it was highly praised at events like the Tokyo Game Show and that they will “continue to promote it with the aim of expanding its recognition among a wide range of users.”

The matter of Pragmata’s delay was also brought up, with them being asked about the status of accounting for the game’s development loss. Capcom simply replied that the impairment losses and other expenses for the title were appropriate and that the company does not expect a significant impact on future revenues.
