Version 2.4, titled On the Precipice of the Abyss, will arrive for free-to-play ARPG Zenless Zone Zero on Nov. 26, 2025.
The update will bring to the game two new agents: Dialyn, an S-Rank Physical Stun agent utilizing two unique resources, Customer Complaint and Positive Review; and Banyue, an S-Rank Fire Rupture agent and a revered martial arts master whose combat technique relies on alternating Adrenaline and Wrathful Fires.
Two new Bangboo companions will also join the game: Birkblick from Krampus, featuring a multifunctional sensor array that transforms into a floating cannon during combat, scanning and bombarding targets with energy blasts, and cheerful Bild N. Boolok, who wields a massive block hammer to smash enemies.
Besides that, Version 2.4 will also see the return of agents Hugo (Attack – Ice) and Ellen (Attack – Ice), along with the return of the Bangboo auto chess event, now featuring PvE special stages and offering exclusive rewards, including a free Bild N. Boolok.
Developed and published by miHoYo/HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero was launched simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and smartphones, both iOS and Android, on July 4, 2024, and then received a port for Xbox Series X|S on June 6, 2025.
Zenless Zone Zero allows players to assume the role of a Proxy (the protagonist known as Belle or Wise), a character who helps others explore alternate dimensions called Hollows. Over time, the Proxy will recruit party members known as Agents to fight entities called Ethereals and other enemies. Besides, Proxy players can operate Bangboo’s rabbit-like robotic assistants.
