Xbox Retro Classics receives five new games from Blizzard

On Nov. 13, 2025, Microsoft added five new games to its Xbox Retro Classics service, all of which were games from the early era of Blizzard.
Among those being added is The Lost Vikings, a 1993 puzzle-platform game developed by Silicon & Synapse, Blizzard’s very first name, and published by Interplay Productions. The game was originally released for the SNES but found its way to MS-DOS, Mega Drive and the Genesis.
Here’s the full list of games being added to the Xbox Retro Classics service:

- Lost Vikings 2: Norse by Norsewest (SNES)
- Lost Vikings 2: Norse by Norsewest (PlayStation)
- Blackthorne (SNES)
- Blackthorne (Mega Drive/Genesis)
- Rock & Roll Racing (SNES)
- RPM Racing (SNES)
The Xbox Retro Classics service, introduced by Microsoft, debuted in May 2025. Microsoft said that it is planning for the service to have more than 100 titles over time. The games being added to the Xbox Retro Classics service are from Activision and Blizzard’s early days.
The service is available for those subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass for no additional charges. Xbox’s Retro Classics service is the product of the collaboration between Xbox and Antstream Arcade.
