A press release said that there will be a “reimagined art direction,” but it’s unclear whether it’s exclusive to the Switch version or for all versions of the game, considering that, compared to previous Prince of Persia titles, The Rogue Prince of Persia is very stylized.

While the initial launch of the game on the Switch will only be digital, a physical version is being planned to be released for the Switch and PlayStation 5 on April 10, 2026. There will be two editions: standard and Immortal.

The Immortal edition of the game will contain a double-sided poster, fine art cards and reverse sides combining to form part of a game world map. The game will also be enclosed in a premium steelbook case with a sleeve.

Preorders for the game’s physical editions start on Nov. 14, 2025. Ubisoft is urging fans to check their local retailers for pricing and availability.
