Turn-based strategy and real-time tactics video game Napoleon: Total War is slated for release on Android and iOS platforms on Dec. 2, 2025, as was revealed via a special announcement trailer published on Nov. 11, 2025.
Developed by Creative Assembly, the game was initially published by Sega for Windows PC on Feb. 23, 2010, and for macOS on July 3, 2013, by Feral Interactive, which also publishes the title for mobile.
Set in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East during the French Revolutionary Wars and Napoleonic Wars, the sixth stand-alone installment in the Total War series allows players to assume the role of Napoleon Bonaparte, or one of his major rivals, on a turn-based campaign map and engage in subsequent battles in real time.
Just like its predecessor, Empire: Total War, which landed on mobile a year ago on Nov. 21, 2024, Napoleon: Total War, which includes a special United States storyline, features three special campaigns that follow the general’s career.
As of the time of writing, the game has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 16,813 reviews.
