On Nov. 12, 2025, BLAST Rivals Fall 2025, a Counter-Strike 2 tournament, has just kicked off, sending eight teams, four top-rated in the Valve Regional Standings and four regional wildcards, in a showdown for the $125,000 first-place prize.
The tournament format follows most of the rules of a Counter-Strike 2 tournament. The group stage will be a double elimination best-of-three. The top team in the group stage will advance to the semifinals in the playoffs, the runners-up will advance to the quarterfinals as high seeds, and the third placers will advance to the quarterfinals as low seeds.
During the playoffs, it will be a single elimination bracket, which means losing one series will lead to the team being out of the tournament. The quarterfinals and semifinals are going to be best-of-three, with the grand final being a best-of-five.
Here are the eight teams participating in the tournament:
- The MongolZ
- Furia
- Team Vitality
- Team Spirit
- Team Falcons
- Passion UA
- paiN Gaming
- Tyloo
The event will last until Nov. 16, 2025. Liquipedia ranks this event as an S-Tier, while Valve ranks it as a Wildcard tournament. Regardless of the rank, this tournament is one of the highest-level ones this year, simply because of its attendees.
