Xbox Game Pass Updates With Avowed Day-One Launch and More

- Avowed is available today for Game Pass members, bringing a new fantasy adventure set in the world of Pillars of Eternity.
- On Feb. 20, EA Sports F1 24 and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will join the Game Pass library.
- Expansions and updates Sea of Thieves: Season 15, Ark Survival Ascended: Astraeos DLC and Forza Motorsport: Update 17 are all available now.
Xbox Game Pass rolls out a list of games upcoming this February, including a day-one launch from Obsidian Entertainment, as well as DLC/game updates.
Avowed, an action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios, debuts today, Feb. 18, 2025, on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S as part of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The game is set in the world of Eora, first introduced in Pillars of Eternity.
EA Sports F1 24, developed by Codemasters and published by EA Sports, the latest installment of the F1 racing franchise, is coming on Feb. 20 to Cloud, Console, and PC within Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will become available for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Standard members starting Feb. 20 on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Isometric role-playing video game developed and published by Owlcat Games lets players step into the boots of a Rogue Trader with special permission from the Imperium to explore, trade, and conquer, all for the benefit of the Imperium and Mankind as a whole.
On Feb. 25, the third installment in the series Watch Dogs: Legion, developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft, will join Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. An action-adventure game set in a fictionalized representation of London in the “near future” is bringing its open world to the cloud, console, and PC.
Ryse: Son of Rome is available now for Game Pass Ultimate but only on Cloud Gaming. Action-adventure game developed by Crytek and published by Microsoft Studios set in an alternate version of Ancient Rome follows the life of the Roman centurion Marius Titus as he becomes one of the leaders in the Roman Legion.
As for DLCs and game updates, Sea of Thieves: Season 15 kicks off Feb. 20 with wild boars, sea monsters, and fresh challenges.
Ascended Astraeos DLC for the Ark Survival is available now, taking players to a mythic, Greek-inspired world with new bosses and over 260km² new map.
Forza Motorsport’s Update 17 brings new cars like the 2023 Toyota Camry TRD and the 2021 Hyundai Elantra TCR today.
Game Pass Ultimate brings some new Perks available from now:
- Minecraft’s Marketplace Pass, which is offering access to 150+ pieces of new content each month,
- Madden NFL 25: EA Play Supercharge Pack,
- Monster Hunter Now: MH Now Bundle that requires Monster Hunter Now mobile to use brings 2 Ultra Hunting Tickets, 2 Paintballs, 2 Potions, a Wander Orb, and a Tigrex crafting material for weapons and armor,
- MultiVersus gets an MVP Pack 5, which includes a Rare Banner – Bun Power and a Legendary Taunt – Treat Break within Game Pass Ultimate membership, despite the fact that the game is officially shutting down after Season 5 on May 30, 2025,
- US users only can claim four Anime classic movies, including Naruto Shippuden The Movie: Blood Prison, Naruto Road to Ninja, Naruto The Last, and Boruto: The Naruto Movie.
Such titles as Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Space Engineers, PAW Patrol World, Maneater, Gris, F1 22 (EA Play) are leaving Cloud, Console, and PC Game Pass on Feb. 28.
