MSI rolled out a new compact GPU, the single-fan GeForce RTX 5050 8GB Inspire ITX, along with its overclocked version, on Oct. 28, 2025.
Both of these new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 GPUs by MSI have similar dimensions of 147 × 120 × 45 mm, and a weight of 551 g. Also, both units are equipped with TORX Fan 5.0, a Heat Pipe which draws thermal energy away from the GPU, and a reinforced backplate that features an airflow vent allowing exhaust air to directly pass through.

On board both GPUs, there are 2,560 CUDA Cores, 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with 20 Gbps speed, on a 128-bit memory bus.
Regarding outputs, both units feature three DisplayPort (v2.1b) outputs and one HDMI (v2.1b: up to 4K 480Hz or 8K 120Hz with DSC, Gaming VRR, HDR).
Both models have High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) support, a power consumption of 130 W via a single 8-pin connector, with a recommended Power Supply Unit of 550 W.
On top of that, both units support DirectX version 12 Ultimate, along with G-SYNC technology and OpenGL version 4.6.
MSI GeForce RTX 5050 8GB Inspire ITX and its overclocked version can both support up to 4 displays and a maximum resolution of 7680 × 4320.
Powered by the Nvidia Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4, the MSI GeForce RTX 5050 8GB Inspire ITX core clock shows 2,587 MHz in extreme performance and 2,572 MHz in boost, while the MSI GeForce RTX 5050 8GB Inspire ITX OC shows 2,617 MHz and 2,602 MHz, respectively.
