Football simulator EA Sports FC 26 launched globally on Sept. 26, 2025, containing over 20,000 licensed players, more than 750 clubs and national teams, and over 35 major leagues across five continents, including exclusive rights to UEFA competitions.
Developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and published by Electronic Arts, the game was released for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Amazon Luna.
The third installment in the EA Sports FC series, following EA FC 24 and EA FC 25, brings gameplay improvements and new features, such as a complete overhaul of dribbling mechanics, enhanced artificial intelligence for player positioning, more lifelike goalkeeper animations, distinct Competitive and Authentic gameplay presets, an upgraded Archetypes system, Live Events and expanded modes for Ultimate Team, Career and Clubs.
Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala appear as the cover athletes of the standard edition, while former Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović is portrayed on the ultimate edition.
