Call of Duty Welcomes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Season 2

|
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be collaborating with Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
- The turtles are expected to debut in season 2, indicated by data mines and leaks.
- Ninja Turtle events, game modes, and weapons are likely coming as well.
Activision officially announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be joining Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone. In the seventeen second trailer, the turtles can be seen peaking out of the sewers, preparing for battle.
This announcement aligns with prior datamines, which indicated their potential release two weeks prior.
Included in the datamines was evidence of a new game mode, events, and weapons debuting alongside the Ninja Turtles – a release pattern parallel to that of The Squid Game collaboration in Black Ops 6.
The Squid Game collaboration featured a battle pass with limited-time rewards, with additional content available through a premium purchase. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration will likely also require microtransactions to acquire the specific cosmetic rewards while handing out free rewards earnable through mission completions.
The files containing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were supposedly included in the season 2 update, meaning they will be released within season 2. The Terminator collaboration concludes on February 20 – and since the trailer says “coming soon,” the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle collaboration is expected to begin soon after The Terminator event concludes.
