The Amnesia franchise has officially surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide, an achievement development studio Frictional Games shared via social media on Sept. 16, 2025. In the announcement post, the developers thanked everyone who has played and supported their games throughout the years.
The very first Amnesia game, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, was released in 2010 for PC, with ports to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch coming at a later date. There are four other entries to the franchise, excluding the collection and re-collection series. Here are all the Amnesia games:
- Amnesia: The Dark Descent (2010)
- Amnesia: Justine (2011)
- Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (2013)
- Amnesia: Rebirth (2020)
- Amnesia: The Bunker (2023)
The Amnesia Collection comes with The Dark Descent, A Machine For Pigs and Justine and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. As for Amneisa Re-Collection, which was released in 2020, it comes with The Bunker, REbirth, The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs. Re-Collection is a bundle available on Steam.
