Developed by Unfrozen and published by Ubisoft and Hooded Horse, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is the official prequel to the critically acclaimed Heroes of Might and Magic series. The partnership with Hooded Horse was announced on July 1, three weeks after the early access delay. The new entry features six different towns: Temple, Necropolis, Sylvan, Dungeon, and Hive, with the last faction yet to be revealed. The game has three multiplayer modes: Classic, Heroes and Castles, and Arena.
Composers Paul Romero, who scored previous entries in the series, and Cris Velasco, known for his work on titles like Mass Effect, God of War, and Starcraft II, are writing the music for the upcoming Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era. Romero’s popular scores for the franchise prompted him to compose his first symphony, Symphony No. 1, Heroes, which was completed in 2008 and was based on the game’s musical themes.
