PUBG: Battlegrounds and PUBG Mobile Go Full K-Pop With G-Dragon’s Event

The upcoming in-game event headlined by G-Dragon will launch on Sept. 10, 2025, for the Windows PC version of the game; on Sept. 18, 2025, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5; and on Sept. 19, 2025, for iOS and Android mobile versions.
PUBG Studios hasn’t disclosed any further details about the collaboration.

PUBG: Battlegrounds was launched on Dec. 20, 2017, while PUBG Mobile was released on March 19, 2018. As of July 2025, PUBG: Battlegrounds has sold over 88 million copies worldwide across PC and console platforms since its release. This figure does not include the free-to-play mobile version, which, as of July 2025, has generated over $11 billion in revenue since its launch.
Both iterations allow up to 100 players to fight in a battle royale by entering the match solo, in a duo or with a small team of up to four people, with the last person or team standing alive winning the match.
