Company Behind Legend of Mir Series Invests $7.2M in Studio Founded by Lies of P Core Devs

Wemade, the creators of the Legend of Mir series, acquired a 25% equity stake in Studio Rasa, which was founded by key members of Neowiz’s Lies of P development team.
In total, South Korean video game developer and publisher behind Web3 Legend of Ymir, The Legend of Mir 2, The Legend of Mir 3, Night Crows, and Mir4, Wemade, invested ₩10 billion (approximately $7.2 million) in console game studio Rasa, which was founded by Chang Kyu Noh (CEO), Tae-yeon Kim (Project Director), and Hyeon Kim (Art Director).
Besides that, Wemade also secured global publishing rights and a secondary investment option for Project IL, Rasa’s first title, which is currently in development and planned for release in 2028.
According to Wemade’s representatives, the investment will be used to expand Rasa’s development team, build prototypes, and establish art resources to support the overall production process of Project IL.
Notably, Wemade targets Q4 2025 for a global launch of Legend of Ymir, alongside the rollout of its core tokenomics item, G-Wemix.
