Roblox surpassed Steam’s all-time peak record of concurrent players by hitting 47,296,412 concurrent users on Aug. 23, 2025.
According to data from Rotrends, Roblox‘s previous peak of approximately 32.7 million concurrent users was achieved on July 19, 2025.
Roblox has reached such numbers due to the games Grow a Garden and Steal a Brainrot, which hit 22,375,597 and 20,354,689 concurrent players, respectively, on Aug. 23, 2025, according to the data from RoMonitor Stats.
Notably, Steam’s all-time peak of 41,239,880 concurrent players was set on March 16, 2025.
It is worth noting, that, according to analytics estimates, the booming success of Grow a Garden led to a 60% growth in the number of Roblox titles with over 50,000 concurrent players in the last six months (as of July 2025), increasing from 15 to 24 games.
