Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Survivors is scheduled to release on an undecided date in 2026, according to the official roadmap provided by Ubisoft. The Division 2: Survivors is an updated take on the survival extraction within The Division 2, and is still in early development stages.
Magnus Jansén is leading the development, serving as Creative Director; he is a veteran of the Division from the early days of the original game, as mentioned in the official blog post.
“The Division 2: Survivors is as much your baby as it is ours, and we strive for transparency during its development,” Executive Producer Julian Gerighty shared. More updates and open communication are slated for the future; no exact release date for the mode was provided.
Within the same blog update, Ubisoft shared details for Division Resurgence as well, a free-to-play mobile RPG shooter MMO, which provides the same gameplay experience as the Division games, adapted to mobile platforms. Testing phases begin in September on both iOS and Android; this will be a closed test, with more details regarding the testing posted here.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 was released in March of 2019 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and costs $29.99 for the Standard Edition when fully priced. The online-only title achieved a peak concurrent play of 14,858 on Steam more than two years ago.
