Pokémon TCG Pocket Secluded Springs Debuts Three Legendary Dogs

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s upcoming Secluded Springs booster packs release on Aug. 27 with Raikou, Entei, and Suicine headlining the new expansion. The three legendary dogs all have EX variants in the new pack, with unique moves and abilities.

Here is a quick overview of each EX, as shown in the teaser trailer:

Suicune ex (HP: 140)

• Ability: Legendary Pulse
  • At the end of your turn, if this Pokémon is in the active Spot, draw a card. 
• Crystal Waltz (Water energy x2, 20x damage)
  • This attack does 20 damage for each Benched Pokémon (both yours and your opponent’s)
• Weakness: Lightning +20
• Retreat cost: 2 

Entei ex (HP: 140)

• Ability: Legendary Pulse
  • At the end of your turn, if this Pokémon is in the active Spot, draw a card.
• Blazing Beatdown (Fire Energy x2, 60+ damage)
  • If this Pokémon has at least 2 extra Fire Energy attached, this attack does 60 more damage.
• Weakness: Fire +20
• Retreat cost: 2 

Raikou ex (HP: 130) 

• Ability: Legendary Pulse
  • At the end of your turn, if this Pokémon is in the active Spot, draw a card
• Voltaic Bullet (Lightning Energy x2, 60 damage)
  • This attack also does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent’s benched Pokémon 
• Weakness: Fighting +20
• Retreat cost: 2 

The previous Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion removed the immersive artwork for both Ho-Oh EX and Lugia EX after confirmed plagiarism accusations. It took the game more than a week to replace the artwork, with temporary placeholders having been used as substitutes during the intermission.

The mobile card game will soon celebrate the introduction of Mega evolutions, according to an announcement made during the closing ceremony of the 2025 Pokémon World Championships.
