The title is a remastered version of Surviving Mars, which was initially released in 2018; the remastered version will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. For players who already purchased Surviving Mars, they can buy the remastered version at a 50% discounted price. The full game costs $39.99, and the discounted game costs $20.
The discount is only applied to players purchasing on the same platform and the same account as their original purchase. After the release of Surviving Mars: Relaunched, the original base game will not be available for purchase.
