Infinity Nikki celebrates its Stardew Valley collaboration on Sept 1. During the collaboration, Nikki can use the Planting ability, which allows them to plant crops in her Home, nurturing their growth through watering. After Nikki’s planting skills improve, she unlocks other abilities, such as Fusion.
Fusion appears to expedite the farming process, as showcased in the PlayStation trailer below. Nikki can use the Construction ability as well, allowing her to build and decorate her Home.
The collaboration has been met with controversy from the community, with many gamers still disgruntled from prior updates and the overall state of the game. Infinity Nikki currently sits at “Mostly Negative” English reviews, with 3,392 users having given input; the recent reviews are “Mixed.”
Here is a review from Aug. 20 from a user who claims to love the game:
“The company behind this game does not care about player satisfaction. Very quickly, Infinity Nikki is turning into the Sims of gacha games: full of bugs, with a priority on squeezing more and more money out of its fanbase instead of ever addressing any problems or fulfilling any of their promises.”
Infinity Nikki increased the cost of 5-star outfits, requiring 11 pieces to complete from the prior 10; this change increased the pity pull from 180 to 220, making it overall more expensive to complete an outfit. The developers acknowledged this change in a public apology, where they stated that future 5-star outfits will not exceed 11 pieces. New five-star outfits are expected to be introduced, according to IGN’s speculations.
