Kill the Brickman, developed by Doonutsaur and published by Poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors, launched on Aug. 21, 2025, without any prior announcement.
The game launched for Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with no information from the developer about versions for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2.
The turn-based rogue-like brick breaker inspired by retro arcade titles allows players to build their own bullet-blasting loadouts by combining relics, clip layouts and bizarre bullets that explode, corrode and multiply.
When choosing a chapter in Kill the Brickman, players need to select a sidearm and can also grab an extra mission from the intergalactic bounty board if feeling brave enough, then fight their way to victory.
The previous title published (and also developed) by Poncle, Vampire Survivors, has received six awards in different categories and, as of the time of writing, holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam with 239,574 reviews and an all-time peak of 77,061 players, according to SteamDB.
