Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga delivers an exciting third-person action-adventure experience set in a vast open-world hub. Breaking away from the traditional linear gameplay of previous Lego titles, players can now kick off their journey from any of the iconic Skywalker Saga episodes and tackle them in any sequence they prefer. Each episode features its own immersive hub filled with iconic planets from the films, ready to be explored. Players can dive into five thrilling story missions per episode, totaling a massive 45 levels.

Combat has received a major overhaul, with lightsaber battles introducing dynamic combos that include light and heavy attacks along with powerful Force abilities. Blaster characters benefit from a third-person over-the-shoulder camera perspective, reminiscent of popular shooter games.

Additionally, players will encounter random events within the hub, such as an imposing Imperial Star Destroyer dropping out of hyperspace, launching a squadron of TIE Fighters against them.
