Legend of Ymir Opens Pre-Registrations Worldwide

Web3 MMORPG Legend of Ymir opened pre-registration on Aug. 19, 2025, ahead of its global launch in Q4 2025.

Created by Wemade, the studio behind the Mir series, and its Web3 arm Wemix, the game will integrate with the Wemix ecosystem via an in-game rewards token called G-Wemix, which is coming at a fixed rate of 1:1 for Wemix’s native coin of the same name, Wemix.

During the pre-registration period, the game will feature several special events, including milestone bonuses that will grant in-game rewards to all pre-registrants once the goal of 5 million participants is reached.

Built on Unreal Engine 5 and styled as a dark reimagining of Norse mythology, Legend of Ymir is set during the events leading up to Ragnarok.

While the game is planned as a reinterpretation of the Mir series, due to Wemix integration, players will be able to acquire G-Wemix through in-game activities and use it to upgrade their characters and gear.
