Web3 soccer simulator FIFA Rivals established a long-term strategic partnership with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund (BVB), marking the title’s first-ever official partnership with a real-life football club.
The collaboration will bring playable stars from the first German club to win the UEFA to the game, along with official BVB-branded in-game kits, collectibles, and special rewards.
It is already known that Karim Adeyemi, Serhou Guirassy, Nico Schlotterbeck, Gregor Kobel, Jude Bellingham, Yan Couto, and Daniel Svensson will appear in FIFA Rivals.
Notably, during the BVB Launch Giveaway Week, Aug. 18–24, 2025, players will be able to receive a free Borussia Dortmund player card pack featuring select first-team stars and claim a new official Borussia Dortmund emblem simply by logging in.
The officially licensed FIFA game allows players to build their own team with a roster of superstars, refine strategies, and manage quick transfers, and offers arcade-style casual football gameplay with PvP and PvE modes, as well as skill-based progression and digital ownership features realized via the Mythical platform.
Developed and published by Mythical Games for Android and iOS platforms, FIFA Rivals released on June 13, 2025, and reached its first million downloads in less than a month since launch.
As of the time of writing, the game has a 4.7-star rating on the Google Play market, with over 13,300 reviews and more than 500,000 downloads, while on the App Store, it has a 4.7-star rating with over 1,300 reviews.
FIFA Rivals is playable in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish languages.
