Tekken Tag Tournament
Tekken Tag Tournament serves as an enhancement of Tekken 3 and marks the fourth entry in the beloved Tekken fighting game franchise. While it expands upon familiar gameplay elements, it is important to note that it is not part of the official Tekken storyline.

Tekken Tag Tournament is an exciting addition to the Tekken franchise, distinct from the main storyline. This unique title allowed Namco to reintroduce fan-favorite characters who were missing from Tekken 3, including Baek Doo San, Bruce Irvin, Jun Kazama, Kunimitsu, and Michelle Chang. The characters in this game retain the same ages they had in their last appearances, maintaining continuity for long-time players.
Since Tekken Tag Tournament is classified as a non-canonical experience, it doesn’t follow a traditional narrative. Instead, it serves as a mashup of characters from Tekken, Tekken 2, and Tekken 3, enabling players to enjoy a diverse roster from the entire series. Notably, some characters like the original King, Marshall Law, the first Jack robot, the initial Kuma, Gon, and Doctor Boskonovitch did not make a return, although Dr. Boskonovitch does make a fun cameo in Tekken Bowl.
Moreover, Tekken Tag Tournament enriched the gameplay by adding two new characters: Tetsujin and Unknown. Tetsujin serves as a “palette swap” for Mokujin, while Unknown stands out as the final boss of the game. Both are “mimic” characters with unique abilities. While Tetsujin did not appear in any subsequent Tekken titles, Unknown made a comeback in the non-canonical sequel, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, much to the delight of
