Numerous reports indicated that Battlefield 6’s second wave of open beta testing is missing DLSS. EA confirmed the issue via social media, stating that the team determined the root cause of the issue and is working towards resolving it by today, Aug. 14, 2025. The social media post was posted at 2:40 am on Aug. 14; as of writing, the issue has not been fixed.
Without DLSS in Battlefield 6’s open beta, the performance of the title is directly affected for players whose PC builds use Nvidia’s GeForce RTX graphics cards. The direct implications depend on the player’s specific builds and PC capabilities.
The Battlefield 6 open beta wave two has surpassed 400,000 concurrent players on Steam alone as of the first day. Prior to wave two, the open beta testing surpassed 500,000 players on Steam.
The second wave of Battlefield 6 open beta takes place from Aug. 14 to 17.
