Battlefield Studios outlined the changes and additions for the second Open Beta Weekend of Battlefield 6, which will run from Aug. 14 to 17, 2025.
During the second Open Beta Weekend, players will see more playlists rotating between multiple game modes. For example, Battlefield Studios cites the All-Out Warfare playlist, which will include Breakthrough, Conquest and Rush. The in-game descriptions for each mode will outline the modes included in the rotation.
In order to provide players with more control over map and mode selection, the developer will also roll out a new feature called Custom Search, which will allow players to choose their favorite combinations of maps and modes. If users search for Conquest on Siege of Cairo, matchmaking will prioritize putting them in a match with this combination, if available. Notably, this feature is not a Server Browser (which won’t be tested this weekend). During Open Beta, Custom Search will be available for Open Weapon mode playlists.
