Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Leads New Games Coming to PlayStation Plus in August 2025

On Aug. 13, 2025, PlayStation revealed the games that will enter its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. The biggest one entering would be Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, followed by Mortal Kombat 1.
In addition to this, a lot of other heavy-hitters are joining the catalog. Here’s the full list of the games entering the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in August 2025:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
- Mortal Kombat 1
- Sword of the Sea
- Earth Defence Force 6
- Unicorn Overlord
- Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key
- Indika
- Harold Halibut
- Coral Island
PlayStation also highlighted Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which were previously announced to be joining the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog. All the games will be available to play on Aug. 19.
On that same day, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be available as a Game Trial for PlayStation Plus Premium members. Players subscribed to the plan will be able to play five hours of the game.
PlayStation Plus is Sony’s subscription service that allows players to play a selection of games that are included in its catalog. There are three tiers: Essential, Extra and Premium, with the most expensive one being Premium, allowing players to tap into PlayStation’s classics catalog.
