THE FINALS is set in a thrilling future, approximately 75 years ahead in 2100, and stands out as the ultimate virtual game show on the globe, boasting a massive international fanbase. It serves as a portal to an expansive universe beyond the mundane real world, known as the Meatspace.
In this immersive virtual reality, players engage as contestants within hyper-realistic arenas, contending for glory, substantial rewards, and the adulation of lavish seasonal Sponsors. The show and its creators operate under the umbrella of MultiCo, a powerhouse rooted in the 1980s.
Recently, THE FINALS faced a dramatic shift when a rogue faction, CNS, executed a high-profile hack, vowing to reclaim their dominance by infusing the game with new items, maps, and gameplay modes. Although MultiCo and commentators Scotty and June acknowledged CNS’s interference, the true intentions of this group remain a mystery.
In reaction to this upheaval, the showrunners enlisted cybersecurity specialists, VAIIYA, to restore order to the game. However, their efforts uncovered a shocking revelation: THE FINALS is powered by a sentient AI capable of self-defense.
