The House of the Dead 2
The House of the Dead 2 is an iconic first-person light gun shooter arcade game that combines intense horror elements, making it the thrilling sequel in The House of the Dead franchise. Initially launched in arcades on the Sega NAOMI board in November 1998, Sega later brought this terrifying experience to the Dreamcast in 1999 and to Microsoft Windows in 2001. Fans can also unlock it on the Xbox as a bonus in The House of the Dead III. Additionally, this classic is featured in the compilation The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for Wii, while the Dreamcast version was honored as a Sega All Stars title.

The game unfolds in a gripping narrative set on February 26, 2000, a dramatic fourteen months after the terrifying events of the 1998 Curien Mansion incident featured in The House of the Dead.
In this thrilling saga, AMS agent G has vanished, with his last known whereabouts pinpointed in the haunting city of Venice, Italy. Chaos erupts as a bizarre zombie outbreak engulfs Venice. To tackle this escalating crisis, American AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart, alongside allies Amy Crystal and Harry Harris, are deployed to investigate and successfully evacuate the terrified citizens. They soon cross paths with the mischievous Zeal, who has had previous encounters with G. Upon discovering G alive but injured, James and Gary engage in a crucial conversation where G provides them with a vital field journal mapping out the formidable bosses and their weak points. However, they are quickly met with a relentless onslaught of undead creatures reminiscent of the horrors from the Curien Mansion incident. Undeterred, they press on in a desperate attempt to rescue the townsfolk from the clutches of this undead nightmare.
