Nintendo’s New US Prices Take Effect

Nintendo changed the pricing of the original Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED, Nintendo Switch Lite, select Nintendo Switch accessories, certain Nintendo Switch 2 accessories and the Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo in the US on Aug. 3, 2025.
As for the time of writing, the changes are as follows:
- Nintendo Switch – $299 → $339
- Nintendo Switch Lite – $199 → $229
- Nintendo Switch OLED – $349 → $399
- Joy-Con (1 unit) – $79 → $89
- Switch Pro Controller – $69 → $79
- NES Controller – $59 → $69
- SNES Controller – $29 → $34
- N64/Genesis Controllers – $49 → $54
- Amiibo Figures – $15 → $19
- Alarmo Alarm Clock – $99 → $109
While the company has also announced changes to the pricing of certain Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, as of the time of writing, all accessories related to the new generation of consoles don’t show any pricing changes.
The news comes on the heels of Nintendo’s official reveal that the original Nintendo Switch has sold 153.1 million units worldwide.
