On top of that, according to the developer’s announcement, on that very same date, the game will receive Locked Cards and Mint Tokens, a reworked Upgrade system, a new Stadiums mode, revamped Leagues and over 800 new cards across 32 teams.
Developed and published by Mythical Games for Android and iOS, the officially licensed Web3 NFL game with blockchain integration was released in early access mode on April 26, 2023. Following a successful soft launch that gathered over 2 million downloads, the title officially launched worldwide on June 18, 2025.
NFL Rivals features arcade-style casual American football gameplay with PvP and PvE modes and skill-based progression. The game allows players to build their own team with a roster of superstars, refine strategies and manage quick transfers.
As of the time of writing, the game has a 4.2-star rating on the Google Play market, with over 22,700 reviews and more than 1 million downloads, while on the App Store, it has a 4.8-star rating with over 197,400 reviews.
