Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, a hack-and-slash platformer, launched globally on July 31, 2025.
Developed by The Game Kitchen and published by Dotemu under the license of Koei Tecmo, the game dropped on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In the game, the player assumes control of Kenji Mozu, a ninja who wields a katana and excels at melee combat, and must protect Hayabusa Village from demons while Ryu Hayabusa journeys to America to honor his father’s will. As the story of Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound progresses, Kenji meets a second playable character, Kumori, a kunoichi of the sinister Black Spider Clan, and forms an alliance with her in order to protect the world from the Demon Lord’s grasp.
The recommended requirements for the game on PC include a 64-bit version of Windows 11, with a CPU such as the Intel Core Quad Q8300 or AMD Phenom II X3 710. The system should have at least 6 GB of RAM, along with a GPU like the Nvidia GeForce GT 640 with 4 GB of VRAM or the AMD Radeon R7 250 with 2 GB of VRAM. These specifications are intended to deliver gameplay at 1080p resolution running at 60fps.
As of the time of writing, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound holds a Metascore of 85, based on 41 critic reviews.
