Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will become the first game in the British-American horror media franchise “Hellraiser,” which consists of 11 films and various comic books.
The announcement of the single-player, survival horror action was made via the very first post on the game’s X (formerly Twitter) account, backed by a trailer published on the official YouTube channel of Saber Interactive, which is behind the upcoming title in cooperation with Boss Team Games.
According to the game’s website, it will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam.
Based on Clive Barker’s novella titled “The Hellbound Heart,” the franchise centers around the Cenobites, which include the primary antagonist named Pinhead. According to a report from Eurogamer, Doug Bradley, who played Pinhead in the first eight “Hellraiser” films, will return to the role of the villain.
