On Steam, Descenders Next costs $29.99 at full price, but is discounted 10% until August 4. The game supports cross-platform multiplayer, according to the official Steam posting. The game’s early access period is scheduled to last for around two years, targeted towards continuously improving upon the experience together with the community. Updates are expected during early access, alongside well after early access concludes.
As of the initial early access debut, the game has four main biomes and two sports. The game’s price is not expected to change upon conclusion of the early access period. Descenders Next has been Steam Deck verified; the system requirements minimum requires 4 GB RAM, but recommends at least 8 GB RAM. The Steam Page has a full list of the required specs.

Descenders initially released on Windows and Xbox One; it was later ported to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, with mobile versions having been released at a much later date. The full extent of the cross-platform multiplayer functionality of the sequel remains to be seen.
