Epic Games Store Summer Sale Has Begun

- Epic Rewards’ 20% back is still ongoing until August 31.
Epic Games Store Summer Sale has officially begun, lasting until July 31 at 11 am ET. Unlike the PlayStation Summer Sale, which listed every title for the user, consumers will have to do a bit of browsing to discover each title on sale. But Epic did highlight several AAA titles that are being discounted, including Assassin’s Creed Shadows, GTA V, and Red Dead Redemption II.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is 25% off, costing $52.49 on the platform. The title released on March 20, 2025 – it currently costs the same price on Steam as well. GTA V Enhanced is 50% off, costing $14.99 on the Epic Games Store, which is around $4 cheaper than the Steam listing. Both Steam and Epic Games Store have Red Dead Redemption II listed at $14.99 at the time of writing, albeit the Steam sale concludes sooner than the Epic Games Store Summer Sale.
Epic Games Store purchases are currently rewarded with 20% back on all Epic Games store purchases using Epic’s payment system through August 31; this reward program began on June 26, 2025.
