The game became available on Xbox Cloud, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.
Developed by Iron Galaxy and published by Activision, the title is a remake of 2001’s Pro Skater 3 and 2002’s Pro Skater 4, which were originally created by Neversoft. The renewed game features 4K resolution support, enhanced textures and smoother animations, along with other visual improvements. On top of that, the map roster includes all those from the original, as well as new ones specifically made for the remake.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is played in a third-person view and features 31 pro skaters and five special guest skaters, including Doom Slayer and the Ninja Turtle Michelangelo.
Besides PC and Xbox, the game was also launched on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Notably, the title features online multiplayer with cross-platform support for up to eight players in one session.
On top of that, the game has a Create-A-Skater mode, which offers expanded customization options, and the Create-A-Park mode, which has additional tools for designing custom skate parks.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 became the 18th main installment in the series of Tony Hawk skateboarding games, following 2020’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, a remake of the first two installments in the franchise: 1999’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and 2000’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2.
