Goddess of Victory: Nikke Sets Date for Summer Boom! The Ghost! Update

Goddess of Victory: Nikke will receive Summer Season update titled Boom! The Ghost! on July 17, 2025 as was announced during special developer’s live stream.
The highlight of the update will be a new story event that begins with a quiet investigation of an abandoned cruise ship and then spirals into supernatural chaos. Players will be able to use ghost-hunting gear to tackle mysterious phenomena onboard.
Dorothy: Serendipity and Elegg: Boom and Shock will join Goddess of Victory: Nikke as new SSR characters.
Notably, during the live stream, the game’s developer shared a redemption code, CATCHMEIFYOUCAN717, to claim in-game rewards, as shown in the picture below.
The update will also introduce three new swimsuit skins, along while bringing back four popular summer looks from past events.
On top of that, a mutated form of the Kraken called the Hologram Kraken will join the game as a new boss.
Developed by South Korean developer Shift Up and published by Level Infinite, Goddess of Victory: Nikke was initially launched for Android and iOS on November 4, 2022, and then ported to Windows PC on February 15, 2023.
The game has surpassed $1 billion in global revenue from its mobile versions alone and was downloaded over 25 million times worldwide before the release of the PC port.
