Soma is slated for release on Nintendo Switch on July 24, 2025, according to an official announcement from the game’s developer via a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Developed and published by Frictional Games, this survival horror follows Simon Jarrett, who attempts to uncover the mysteries of the remote underwater research facility PATHOS-II after finding himself there under mysterious circumstances.
The game was initially released for Linux, macOS, and Windows PCs, as well as for PlayStation 4 on Sep. 24, 2015. It was later ported to Xbox One on Dec. 1, 2017. Notably, the upcoming Nintendo Switch version is being handled by Abylight Studios in collaboration with Frictional Games.
