Chinese manufacturer Colorful announced its MEOW GPU series, a cat-themed variant of Nvidia’s RTX 5050 series. The RTX 5050 series graphics card features Nvidia’s DLSS 4 and 2,560 CUDA cores, serving as the newest entry-level GPU for Nvidia’s hardware lineup.

The graphics processing unit was initially reported by VideoCardz, a media outlet that claims that the MEOW series might be one of the most unique GPU lines across all vendors, as it is the only card that uses orange fans. The MEOW RTX 5050 uses a dual-fan design with the following measurements: 229.9 x 115.5 x 48.9 mm.
PCGamer claims that the Colorful MEOW lineup is an experimental trial that prioritizes cards that are not quite what the consumer would expect to see.
The GeForce RTX 5050 series is slated to release towards the middle of July, according to Nvidia’s official update post. The hardware has a starting price of $249, and uses 8 GB GDDR6 video memory. The price point for the MEOW series has not been revealed.
