Monster Hunter Now Kicks Off Collaboration Event With Upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds

Collaboration between Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Wilds has officially begun, bringing new content to fans ahead of the February 28th release of Monster Hunter Wilds. The event will continue until March 31st.

The crossover is a part of Monster Hunter Now’s ongoing updates, designed to bridge the gap between the two games. From now until the end of March, players can unlock such content as the Monster Hunter Wilds Hoodie layered equipment and various themed packs. 

One of the biggest highlights of the collaboration is the second phase of the event, which will coincide with the February 28th launch of Monster Hunter Wilds. During this phase, players will be able to collect the Seikret Rider Outfit and the Wyvern Gem Shard, which can be used to upgrade weapons and enhance character customization options. Additionally, the Chatacabra will make its debut, appearing in desert habitats. A limited-time Urgent Quest will also be available in terms of collaboration.

As part of the Monster Hunter Now update, Niantic is also introducing a special login event that will run alongside the Wilds crossover. Starting on February 28th, players who log in will be rewarded with some in-game items, including Supply Items 5, the Hope Weapon Forging Ticket x 12, an exclusive Hope layered outfit, and a 500-item box expansion.

As of Dec. 31, 2024, the Monster Hunter series has sold over 100 million units worldwide, making it Capcom’s second-best-selling franchise after Resident Evil. Monster Hunter Now, a mobile game available on both the App Store and Google Play, has been downloaded over 15 million times by 2024 and generated approximately $4.85 million by in-app purchases in December 2024.
