Cooperative climbing title Peak has reached 1 million copies sold within six days of its launch for Windows PC on Steam.

On top of that, as of the time of writing, the co-op game, developed and published by the creator of Another Crab’s Treasure and Going Under, Aggro Crab, in cooperation with Landfall Games, has an online peak of 102,799 concurrent players and a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 10,466 reviews.

The game supports co-op for up to four players, whose main objective is to climb a mountain following a crash landing on an unknown island. The game’s map cycles every 24 hours and does not repeat. Players can revive their teammates once per level using altars found at the campsite, a rest area between each level. Each team member can carry only three items, plus four more with a backpack. For completing the default difficulty in Peak, players are awarded an in-game cosmetic sash and unlock more challenging difficulty levels.

Peak was initially created for a game jam in February 2025 and then expanded and released as a full title on June 16, 2025. Notably, the game sold its first 100,000 copies within the first 24 hours of release.

A year ago, Aggro Crab’s previous game, Another Crab’s Treasure, reached 500,000 copies sold. But unlike Peak, Another Crab’s Treasure gathered its numbers not just from PC sales but also from PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
