Vindictus: Defying Fate’s Concurrent Users Record Towers Over Other Steam Next Fest Games

|
- Vindictus: Defying Fate’s demo has the highest concurrent users record during the Steam Next Fest.
- It reached a maximum of 40,911 players enjoying the game.
- The game is only currently available to wishlist on Steam.
Steam Next Fest ran from June 9 to June 16, and Vindictus: Defying Fate was the top demo via concurrent users (CCU) during the event, according to GamesDiscoverCo. It reached a maximum of 40,911 players, which is almost four times higher than the next one in the list.
GamesDiscoverCo made a graph displaying the top 20 highest CCU games during the event. Vindictus: Defying Fate absolutely blew the competition out of the water. The next highest CCU game was Wildgate with 14,575, and the next one that followed was Anvil Empires with 12,014.

The Vindictus franchise has been around since 2010, and the first game was an MMORPG released in the same year. However, the developers have taken more of an action-RPG approach to the classes of the MMORPG and created Vindictus: Defying Fate.
Players who have tried the game are saying the bosses were really hard. Vindictus: Defying Fate will be released as a single-player game, with multiplayer being added later. The story seems to be a retelling of the original game.
The game still has no release date and is only currently available to wishlist on Steam. There is no news on whether the game will be available on other platforms.
