Mycopunk is coming out on July 10, according to a trailer shown at the PC Gaming Show 2025. The game is Devolver Digital’s first-person co-op shooter, where players are put in the shoes of robots trying to eradicate menacing fungi across the galaxy.
The game was first revealed in late April by Devolver Digital. The game has an updated demo on its Steam page where interested players can download and play it. The demo is going to act as a preview of what the game will deliver and will be limited.
Mycopunk has a class system and a “one-of-a-kind grid-based upgrade system.” The robots will have abilities to help them fight the fungi, while some will have healing abilities to help their teammates.
The upgrade system, on the other hand, forces players to be a lot more aware of what they’re putting in it, as it’s grid-based and has the tendency to get quite overpowered if the right upgrades are worked into it.
